I know, I know, it’s only November. However, I’m trying to plan for advent and in order to do that I need to start in November. Most years we do a Jesse Tree, whether it’s using real ornaments on our little tree, or it’s doing a paper tree on the wall. I love reading the devotionals each day, helping us to focus on Christ.

This year I’m going to make a paper chain, and for each day there will be an activity for us to do. Simple things like make hot chocolate and play a game, watch a Christmas movie, carol for an elderly person at church, etc. I’ll post my list when I’ve finished.

This year I wanted to get some great books that we could read together. I used suggestions from years past and decided to purchase the ones I wanted. This way I’ll have them every year!
