Roy and I were married January 1, 1997 and have since had 5 more children. We started homeschooling when Kayla was entering the 5th grade and haven’t looked back. We’re currently living in Twentynine Palms where we’re making a home for ourselves….something we try to do no matter where the Marine Corps takes us.
Roy is a Master Sergeant and has about 2 years left in the Marine Corps. Where we’ll go after that, only God knows at this point. We’ll be doing a lot of praying for direction!!!
I like to blog about random items: school, 29 Palms, the kids, hobbies. I love getting together with friends, whether it be the ladies for coffee, or the whole families for fellowship time.

Let me start by saying you have a beautiful family, and I know you are such a great mom to your children. I could not imagine homeschooling my kids. You must make ultimate sacrifices! I mean as moms we all make sacrifices, but you have 6 kids, WOW, that is great!!! I was wondering if you could tell me anything about Ocotillo Housing? My husband just got orders there, and I am a little nervous. We are at Camp Pendleton now, and everybody keeps telling me it is horrible there. I guess if you have any pics of that housing, or what the neighborhood is like? What is there to do there? I have 3 kids and one on the way!! 3 boys and a girl on the way! Just any info would help, seems that I cant find much anywhere else. Thanks!!-amy
