31 Days of Pinterest
Posted By Melissa on September 30, 2011
I’m participating with The Nester and hundreds of other bloggers doing 31 posts about the same topic. I picked Pinterest as my topic! What is Pinterest? It’s like bookmarking a website you like, but it uses a picture instead of only words.
I have been accumulating a lot of pins on my site, organizing them into categories, but had yet to do anything with any of them! Some are crafts, some clothing, food, and so on. Here’s a picture of what my Pinterest looks like with my boards showing:
Then I can click on the individual boards … I will choose “Want to Eat” and this is what I see:
I have 91 pins in this board! See how easy it is to spot what you might want to look at further. Now I’ve scrolled down… I think I have too many desserts!
I decided it was time to complete some items from within my Pinterest Boards. I’ve made a list of 26 so far, and they include crafts, food, organization, and some school items. So check back each day to see what I’ve worked on and my review of the item!
Day 1: Washer Necklace
Day 2: Raspberry Beer Cocktail
Day 3: Continental Breakfast
Day 4: Laundry Pocket Items
Day 5: S’Mores Cookie Bars
Day 6: Letter Combinations Chart
Day 7: Finger Puppets
Day 8: Wrapping Paper Storage

Love, Love, Love pinterest! I’ve given up blog hopping now because if it was any good, someone pinned it! Lol! I’m addicted! And I’ve actually followed through with several of mine! Can’t wait to see what your next posts are!!
I love how you are bringing your two worlds together! How fun to “have” to pin so that you can write all month
(says the one who is a little addicted to the pinning thing!)
So glad, I’m not alone!
I still keep pinning away. So little time. Course I’m always pinning rooms and houses I like and that is really all just a dream!

You inspired me to do a 31 days of Pinterest too! I think the hardest part will be choosing which ones to actually do.
This is my problem also! I had only done 3 or so already. Instead I have a huge list that I want to accomplish, but now I need to find the time to do them! I’m afraid I’ll do all the “easy” ones and then it will be the end of them month and I’ll be scrambling. At least at the end of the month I’ll be able to say that I accomplished 31 items from my Pins. Because before I wasn’t doing any! I just spent all my time pinning!
